Hometown: Irvine, CA / (Grew up in St. Paul, MN) Family Info: My husband (and best friend since 1986) Scott, my son Ryan (14) and daughter Erica (8). How did you become a part of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church? Good Shepherd was the first church we visited when we moved to Irvine in 1999, we've stopped looking. What is your role? I am part of a team that creates fun and meaningful activities for children who attend our Sunday program, Vacation Bible School, etc. What is your favorite part about your role? I enjoy sharing the Good News with everyone, especially children and feel blessed to be given the opportunity to truly enjoy my "job".

Fun Stuff

If you were an animal what would you be? If I could choose to be an animal I would be a Red Panda, which from the participial form of the Latin fulgere means “to shine”. What's the greatest invention in the last 50 years? The greatest invention in my opinion is the Palm Pilot. I love dumping information I'm supposed to remember onto it, so I can keep my head clear for better things. What is your favorite place on earth? My favorite place on Earth is Disneyland! We get uninterrupted family time there. Plus we all love a fast spin on the tea cups. What makes you laugh? A good Norwegian joke always makes me laugh. Although, is there such a thing as a good Norwegian joke? If you could have any super-power what would it be? I would choose to have control over weather as a superpower - so I could really blow people away.
