Vice President, Strategic PlanningHometown: I grew up in Yorba Linda, CA and currently live in Tustin, CA. Family Info: Wife (Melanie) and Daughter (Kaylee). How did you become a part of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church? My wife and I looked for a place where we both could grow in Christ and raise our kids. We found that at Good Shepherd (which happens to be a stone’s throw from where my wife grew up). What is your role? As the VP of Strategic Planning, I support the pastors, staff, church council, congregation leadership, and congregation in strategic plan development and monitoring. It is my objective to ensure the church remains aligned with our mission and vision statements in all we do, ultimately carrying out the Great Commission. What is your favorite part about your role? The excitement and possibilities that are presented when we give our resources to God’s plan. What a ministry that is!
