Hometown: Irvine, CA / (Grew up in Grand Rapids, MI) Family Info: Wife: Francheska, Kids: Ethan 8 (in June) and Bella 4 How did you become a part of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church? A mutual friend (pastor) referred me when Good Shepherd was looking for a Lead Pastor of its Northwood worship site. What is your role? Pastor of Adult Education and Discipleship and overseeing ministries such as: Alpha Express (a seven week introduction to the Christian faith) and Men’s Ministry. What is your favorite part about your role? Seeing people’s lives changed as they realize God’s unconditional love for them in Jesus. And also watching people grow in their faith and be used by God for great things.

Fun Stuff

If you were an animal what would you be? Probably a golden retriever, because they are pretty easy to manage and don’t give people too hard of a time. What's the greatest invention in the last 50 years? Fantasy Sports online, especially baseball and football. What is your favorite place on earth? Big Star Lake in Northern Michigan. Nicknamed, “God’s Country”!! What makes you laugh? Any kind of sophomoric humor, or watching people who don’t know how to dance. If you could have any super-power what would it be? To be in more than one place at one time.
