Preschool DirectorHometown: Des Moines, Iowa / (Grew up in various cities in California.) Family Info: My husband Nader (happily for 20 years) and our four children: Shastina, Tatiana, Ariana and Skyler. How did you become a part of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church? I started attending GSLC as a young mother when Shastina was one and became involved in a small group called "Mothers of Babies and Toddlers." The name of the group has changed several times in 16 years and still going strong! What is your role? My main focus in Children's Ministry is writing and organizing curriculum for our Preschool and Kindergarten FLOCK program. I also organize and oversee special events along with my co-workers. What is your favorite part about your role? Reaching out to our youngest children and sharing the news that God loves our children and surrounds our little ones in such a huge hug of love that can be felt through songs, prayer, storytime, words of healing and so much more. They just need to open up their hearts.
