Race for the Cure: Komen Foundation

The Komen Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating breast cancer as a life threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening, and treatment. One of the Foundation’s largest fundraisers is the annual “Race for the Cure” 5K Run/Walk. GSLC always sends a team and we meet at a central location at the race to share the event together. This year the race is on September 26, 2010 at Fashion Island . Participants of all ages are welcome. Registration is now available at www.ockomen.com.
