Education at GSLC

In the Great Commission we are called as a church to: “Make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that Jesus commanded.” With that command is given a promise, “And I will surely be with you until the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20). The word “disciple” means “lifelong learner.” At Good Shepherd we are committed to providing learning opportunities at each age level and in different ways, so that each person can know who they are as a “son or daughter of God” through their identity given in baptism into Christ Jesus. Secondly, we want to provide opportunities to grow in knowledge and understanding of their identity in Christ through educational classes, small groups, and opportunities to develop as a disciple and make other disciples.
