How To Feed Yourself?

The Christian Life Profile Assessment Tool (CLPAT) helps each believer assess where they are at in 30 Core Competencies (10 Key Beliefs, 10 Key Practices, 10 Key Virtues). The idea is to pick one growth area and develop a plan for growth in that area. Also there is an Observation Assessment to bring others along to help assess you and help you stay accountable to your plan. (Contact Pastor Mike to obtain a copy of the book.)

REVEAL study – Our congregation recently participated in a process called REVEAL. This helps churches to understand at what stage its members are at in their spiritual growth, and importantly helps create spiritual movement from one stage to another.

Stage 1 “Exploring Christ”
Stage 2 “Growing in Christ”
Stage 3 “Close to Christ”
Stage 4 “Christ Centered”

How do I grow to the next stage???

Movement One (1-2): Attend Church Weekly, Participate in the Alpha Course, Take 101 New Member’s Class, Pray and Read the Bible Daily, Join a Small Group

Movement Two (2-3): Same as Movement One and Discover Your Spiritual Gifts and Ministry

Movement Three (3-4): Same as One and Two, and Add new spiritual disciplines like Silence and Solitude, learn how to share your faith story (ie. Contagious Christian), lead/facilitate Alpha Small Group

Movement Four (4 and beyond): – Same as 1,2,3 and become leader in a ministry team or small group!
